Guiding is charged by the day per person,  typically  designed around key species or sites you would like to visit.

We offer daily guided tours throughout the year or longer trips lasting several days.

Our groups are limited to no more than four, which ensures that everyone has a chance to see all the birds, although I can arrange for transport for slightly larger groups if required. These  small sized  groups have the advantage of allowing us to cater for bird watchers of all levels of experience. The  day is designed to enable you to watch and enjoy the superb wildlife here in  Norfolk  and help you to learn various aspects of bird identification. There will be plenty of opportunity to discuss what has been seen and ask questions. We typically encounter 60 — 90 species depending on the weather and the season.

We normally meet at 8.30 am on the day. The route and birds we are likely to see will be discussed but these will be also governed by the time of the high tide and the weather. The tour takes place at a comfortable pace and normally covers 2 – 4 miles with a short break for lunch. We usually finish around 5 pm. Please note, both the start and finish times can be changed by prior arrangement.

Day Tour prices vary, and are based on number of people and required destinations or itineraries, though all tours include all guiding and transport on the day from a convenient meeting point. Please email or call me for further details.

In case of cancellation by you more than two weeks in advance of the tour date, deposits will be refunded. No deposits can be refunded for cancellations within two weeks of the tour date though bookings can be transferred to another date. In case of cancellation 24 hours before the start of a tour full payment will have to be made.

Please note that bad weather will not necessarily result in the cancellation of a tour. The tour will normally go ahead unless conditions are particularly bad or dangerous.
